The Superintendent/Principal serves as the Chief Executive Officer for the Columbia Union School District. The candidate for this position must have the background, skills and abilities essential for excellence in educational leadership.

The Superintendent/Principal is responsible for developing, implementing and managing district budget; overseeing the operation of the school facility; personnel decisions; implementing policies, rules and regulations of the governing board; planning, organizing and directing the instructional programs of the district; overseeing the district’s technology program; and is willing to participate in student and staff activities. This individual is the spokesperson for the district displaying positive interpersonal skills with the ability to make difficult decisions in the best interest of the district.
