Sacramento COE

Sacramento County Office of Education

Mission: Provide leadership, build partnerships, and implement innovative programs and policies that ensure opportunity and access to empowering educational experiences for each and every learner.

The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) is one of 58 county offices of education in California. Approximately 780 regular and more than 815 temporary and substitute SCOE staff work year-round providing services that complement and supplement those offered by public school districts in Sacramento County. SCOE provides technical assistance, curriculum and instructional support, staff development, legal and financial advice, and oversight to Sacramento County school districts.

San Bernardino

Mission: The mission of San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools is to transform lives through education. Working in collaboration with school districts, families, community partners and other agencies, we provide leadership, advocacy and services to ensure equitable, innovative and inspiring educational practices. This endeavor is essential to the quality of life and economic vitality of our communities.

Representing the largest county in the contiguous United States, San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools (SBCSS) is responsible for the education and support of 33 school districts and nearly 400,000 students. Additionally, SBCSS provides direct support and oversight to the county’s most vulnerable students, including those experiencing homelessness, those in foster care, those who are incarcerated and students with exceptional needs. As a county office of education, SBCSS is dedicated to ensuring all students, regardless of their circumstances, receive an equitable, innovative and inspiring education. 

Santa Clara COE

Mission: The Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE) is committed to serving, inspiring, and promoting student and public school success.

​​​​​​​​​The Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE) is a champion of public education, serving as an exemplary regional resource to students, parents, school districts, community agencies, and businesses. ​

Working collaboratively with school and community partners, the Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE) is a regional service agency that provides instructional, business, and technology services to the 31 school districts of Santa Clara County. The County Office of Education directly serves students through special education programs, alternative schools, Head Start and State Preschool programs, migrant education, and Opportunity Youth Academy. The SCCOE also provides academic and fiscal oversight and monitoring to districts in addition to the 21 Santa Clara County Board of Education authorized charter schools.​
