The session will feature expert Niki Sandoval, PhD (Santa Ynez Band of Chumash), Co-Director of the Western Educational Equity Assistance Center (WEEAC) and Program Director with WestEd’s Strategic Resource Allocation and Systems Planning team. Sandoval collaborates with tribal, federal, state, and local education agencies to support strategic resource planning, professional learning, and Communities of Practice (CoPs), with an emphasis on respectful community engagement and cocreation. This webinar is an insightful opportunity to connect with experts dedicated to creating inclusive, supportive learning environments that promote consistent attendance and academic success for Native community students.
